Our Family
I'm from Colorado, and my wife Erin is a native of northern Idaho. We met while studying at Colorado Christian University and were married in January of 2002. I graduated from CCU in 2002 with a youth ministry degree. We spent the next two years youth pastoring at Green Mountain Christian Church in Lakewood, Colorado.
During a summer internship with Global Frontier Missions (GFM) in 2001, we were captured by God's heart for the nations. In May of 2004, we joined GFM's full-time staff in Mexico. Our job the first four years with GFM was overseeing short-term mission opportunities for Americans and Canadians. In September of 2007 we began leading the Mexico church planting team, which is now our full-time job.
Our first daughter, Lauryn, was born in October of 2003 while we were living in Colorado. Molly (February of 2005), Jenna (June of 2007), and Gloria (February of 2009) were all born in Mexico.
